Album notes
A tenth-anniversary edition of Klangtechnik. The 2015 arrangements are left intact; what changes is the master — the low end and the fine detail re-opened with another decade’s worth of ears and tools, so the record sits comfortably next to the newer work without being rebuilt. The edition runs to ten tracks — One is left off, and Upon Shores, Through Ditches appears here as a live take.
The point of a remaster, like the point of revisiting an old system, is to hear what was always there more clearly — not to make it something it wasn’t.
